Description of Service
In short, SNOWMTL gives you a fast way to translate text and images online without cost, while asking that you use the platform responsibly and in good faith.
SNOWMTL provides AI-assisted online translation tools on a best-effort basis, including:

- An image translator that uses OCR to extract and translate text from uploaded images.
- Optional account features such as translation history and saved files.
- Supporting content such as blog guides and a FAQ page.

Eligibility and Accounts
- You may use the text translator and image translator without creating an account.
- Creating an account requires a valid email address and a password meeting our minimum security requirements.

- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.

We may adjust daily limits, supported file types, or supported languages at any time to keep the online translator sustainable and responsive for all users.
Acceptable Use
When using SNOWMTL, you agree that you will not:
- Submit illegal content, or content you do not have the right to process, through the text translator or image translator.
- Attempt to bypass rate limits, security controls, or authentication mechanisms.
- Use automated scripts or bots to scrape or overload the translation or OCR infrastructure outside of any published API terms.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the underlying translation logic of the service.
- Use the platform to harass, defame, or infringe on the rights of others.
- Upload malicious files disguised as images to the image translator.
Violation of acceptable use rules may result in throttling, suspension, or termination of access.
Intellectual Property
The SNOWMTL name, logo, interface design, and underlying software are the property of SNOWMTL or its licensors. You retain ownership of any text or images you submit for translation. By submitting content, you grant us a limited license to process that content solely to provide the requested translation service.
Third-Party Translation Providers
To operate reliably as a free AI translator, we route requests through a fallback chain of independent translation providers. These providers may have their own usage policies, and availability can vary. We are not responsible for outages or output quality originating from third-party infrastructure, though we work to mitigate this through automatic failover and caching.
Automated and API-Style Access
Some parts of SNOWMTL, including the internal endpoints that power the text translator and image translator interfaces, are intended for use through our website rather than as a general-purpose public API. Automated or programmatic use that goes beyond normal browser interaction — including bulk scraping, unauthorized bots, or high-volume scripted requests — is not permitted unless we have explicitly authorized it in writing, since it can degrade performance for other users of the free online translator.
Maintenance and Interruptions
We may temporarily suspend access to the text translator, image translator, or related features for scheduled maintenance, security patches, or infrastructure upgrades. We will try to keep such interruptions brief and infrequent, but we do not guarantee advance notice for every maintenance window, particularly for urgent security fixes.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to SNOWMTL, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, abused the service, or created risk for other users or the platform. You may stop using the service, or request account deletion, at any time through our Contact page.
Disclaimer of Warranties
The service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the text translator, image translator, or OCR translator will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, particularly on shared hosting infrastructure. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SNOWMTL shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, revenue, or goodwill, arising from your use of — or inability to use — the online translator, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Changes to the Service and These Terms
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of SNOWMTL, including specific languages, providers, or features, at any time. We may also update these Terms periodically; continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. Feedback and Suggestions

Indemnification

No Waiver

These Terms are governed by applicable law in the jurisdiction where SNOWMTL operates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where local consumer protection laws provide otherwise.
